Boogaloo Playlists, etc.
Before we get to the last few playlists, a special announcement: The Georgia Soul Council will be live in studio this week, talking about their gig at the Elliott Street Deli and Pub this Saturday, and keeping us apprised of all things Soul Council. Not sure, but they’ve got to be due for a recording soon, but we should also have a few pair of passes to give away as well. Tune in Thursday from 11pm to midnight to find out! And, for more shows, check out the last What’s Up with What’s Going Down, which will hopefully be getting an update soon.
Also, I’d like to give a big shout to Curtis Harding of Night Sun for coming through the studio last week. He was a great interview and they absolutely threw down at 529 on Saturday as part of the Quality Control gig. Big ups to Echo Tree Media for brokering the deal and putting on a helluva show. ETM were also kind enough to post the interview to SoundCloud for posterity, so check it out now and later.
Finally, forgot to post the previous week’s (2/9) playlist, so here it is, better late than never. And here is the 2/16 list while we’re at it. For the latest show, you can pick up the stream here! Each of the last two week’s shows are always found on the Electric Boogaloo home page.
