2013 marks the 45th anniversary of WREK Atlanta 91.1 FM. To celebrate, the station is planning to hold a benefit concert sometime in late spring (March or April). Please fill out the form below if you or your band are interested in playing WREKtacular 2013!

WREK Fall 2012 Open Houses
WREK Radio is holding two Open Houses this week! Come learn how you can be a part of Georgia Tech’s student operated and engineered radio station. Apart from becoming a DJ and getting to play what you want, we have opportunities for people interested in business, journalism, marketing, sports, engineering, and web design. Minimum commitment is 1 hour per week, and we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
Open Houses will be held on:
-Weds August 29th from 5PM-7PM at the Student Center in room 321
-Fri August 31st from 7PM-9PM at the Student Center in room 320

John Cage tributes to air on WREK Sept 2nd-4th
John Cage is a towering figure in 20th Century music composition, with a body of work that challenges the concept of music itself. In celebration of his 100th birthday on Sept 5th, 2012 WREK will be recognizing Cage with a series of events. These events will include a two-hour Sunday Special on Sept 2nd, a live performance during the Sept 4th regular Live @ WREK show on Tuesday Sept 4th, and midnight shows for three nights Sept 2nd – 4th.

This March marks the 44th anniversary of WREK so we’ll be celebrating at The Goat Farm! The doors open at 7:30 PM but we also have a pre-show planned! The cost is $12.
