50LBS of Rice: September 26, 2011
Let me introduce you to one of my favorite Vietnamese desserts; it’s called Che Chuoi. It’s bananas, sago pearls, and mystery ingredients in a sweet coconut based cream. Usually, it is served with peanuts. Despite its strange appearance, the dessert is quite yummy! I am not sure how to describe its texture or flavor, but for certain it has a strong banana flavor and is extremely sweet. I forgot to take a picture of it again, so here is a generic internet pic of this deliciousness (next week I will make sure to take a picture):

Tune in this week as The Price is Right gets you back in the groove Thursday night from 11pm to midnight. There’ll maybe even an El-Dogg sighting.
Not much else to discuss, here, but we’ll update the What’s Up? concert listing as its warranted. The Atlanta Funk Society will be playing this Thursday 9/22 at The Five Spot along with the 16 Bars Hip-Hop Orchestra. Classic hip-hop played by a live band? It’s like a reverse sampling of classic funk. Yes, please, and thank you. For the other listings, check out our latest What’s Up With What’s Going Down post from last week. Until next time, Love Your Life…
